SCHEDULES: AUGUST (Try-out Schedule)

Please note: There is no ice time scheduled for the month of July.

THE SEASON IS GEARING UP FAST: Note that TRAVEL TEAM TRY-OUTS will be held the weekend of AUGUST 15-17TH, WITH PRACTICES STARTING UP ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER! PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF USA HOCKEY INSURANCE FOR 2008-09 PRIOR TO SKATING AT TRYOUTS!! See: USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION for registering. Travel Registration Forms will be available online by August 1st.

. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN COACHING THIS COMING SEASON? Click here to see how the Coach Selection Process works, including the election of ACE Coordinator, (Director of Coaches). Also see Coach Application form. Please note that anyone interested in coaching in the Santa Rosa Junior Hockey Club must submit to a CAHA background screening, (see Screening Instructions). You cannot apply for a coaching position unless this process has been completed. Click here for a link to the screening procedures and process: CAHA Coaches Screening, and click on the link on the left for 'screening'. Once you begin the screening process, it takes approximately 8-10 minutes to complete and is very easy. The SRJHC will pay for the costs associated with this screening.

DON'T GET LEFT OUT IN THE HEAT THIS SUMMER: SNOOPY'S HOME ICE has contracted with Jeff Serowick's PRO-AMBITIONS Hockey Camp. Club members will receive a 10% discount with the Pro-Ambitions camp. Well, they didn't win but they sure had fun trying to. The Midget 18 team was not a happy crew as they finished 4th....but when we look at it as a loss that's really a win, this is the team! They played hard against huge odds, maintained their composure and sportsmanship, and were competitive throughout the State Finals. 4th place in the entire State of California is still a win and we are all so very proud of them.

3/25/08: Kids -- PeeWee and older, especially those that have aged out of Norcal, and adults, (including those associated with the Santa Rosa Junior College and the Adult Leagues) -- Here's your opportunity to officiate & learn the game from the other side! 9/10/07: Travel Team Off-Ice Officiating Volunteer Positions! Summer is always a great time to get a head start on learning the ropes of volunteer positions for home games, which include scorekeeper, time-clock attendant, two shots-on-goal counters, two penalty box attendants and game announcer, (optional).
