The SRJHC Summer Hockey Program is scheduled to begin this Friday May 4th and will run through Sunday June 24th. In an effort to give our members the most hockey possible, this year's program is a slightly different format from years past. Your Summer Hockey Season now features three great ways to play!
SCRIMMAGE SESSIONS Age specfic scrimmage sessions, supervised by SRJHC coaches and held on Saturdays & Sundays (7 sessions for each Level)
Level One: 8 & under (birth year 2004 and younger)
Level Two: 9 - 12 (birth years 2000 - 2003)
Level Three: 13 & over (birth years 1999 and older
POND HOCKEY Age specific Cross Ice 'Pond Hockey' format, supervised by SRJHC coaches and held on alternating Friday evenings (3 Sessions for each Age Group). There are 2 Age Groups for the Pond Hockey sessions: 10 & under (birth year 2002 & younger) and 11 & over (birth year 2001 and older).
HOCKEY SKILLS Age specifc Hockey Skills Development sessions, run by SRJHC coaches and held on alternating Friday evenings (4 Sessions for each Age Group). There are 2 age groups for the Hockey Skills sessions: 10 & under (birth year 2002 & younger) and 11 & over (birth year 2001 and older).
MITE DEVELOPMENT Mite specific ages (birth year 2004 and younger), run by SRJHC coaches to focus on beginner skills and development. These sessions will be offered twice during the Summer Program, and are designed for all Mite age players for next season (birth year 2004 and younger). 'Graduating' Mites (e.g. those moving onto to squirts) should attend the appropriate Development sessions for their birth year.
BUYING YOUR SUMMER HOCKEY PASS Buy a Summer Program Pass! The Summer Hockey Pass entitles your skater to attend all of the sessions described above.
The cost of this year's Summer Program Pass is $120. However, if you 'act fast' and purchase your Pass prior to this Thursday May 3rd, the cost of the Pass is only $100. How do I buy a Pass?
Simply drop a check in the SRJHC dropbox, located at the box office at Snoopy's Home Ice, by Thursday May 3rd to secure your 'early bird' pricing of $100. Please note the skaters name in the memo area of the check.
If you have a credit balance currently on your account, you can use that balance to buy your Summer Pass. Drop an email to treasurer@santarosaflyers.org to sign-up via this method.
We will also be taking sign ups at all of the scheduled sessions and accepting credit cards for sign-ups at the sessions this weekend.
Don't want to buy a Pass? We will welcome drop-ins for individual sessions of the Summer Program. Each drop-in will be priced at $20 per session. There will be NO conversions or credits of drop-in fees towards a Summer Pass at a later date.
Members must be in good financial standing with SRJHC in order to participate in the Summer Program.
