Josiah Nikkel,
former Santa Rosa Midget 18A and Cardinal Newman Varsity team captain
has been selected to be a part of the 2010-2011 Fresno Monsters WSHL
team. Josiah will be playing on the Tier-III Junior A Fresno Monsters
team that competes in the Western States Hockey League. Josiah attended
the Monsters camp recently which featured nearly 200 players from all
over the world all vying for one of only 50 roster spots and made such
an impression the coaches could not pass him up!
Jimmy Reed, former Santa Rosa Midget 18A and Cardinal Newman Varsity player, is currently playing for the Eugene Generals of the Tier-III
Junior A NOR-PAC Junior Hockey League. Reed was originally drafted and signed by the Butte Roughriders after a strong showing at the Globals Showcase in Las Vegas.
