2011-12 USA Hockey Coaching Education Seminars
 

USA Hockey Coaching Education Seminars for the 2011-2012 season: 
  • September 23-24-25, 2011 @ Oakland Ice Center
  • October 14-15-16, 2011 @ Sharks Ice San Jose
  • November 18-19-20, 2011 @ Sharks Ice San Jose  
Level and Session times:
  • Level 1 - Friday (6-10PM)
  • Level 2 - Saturday (8AM-5PM)
  • Level 3 - Sunday (8AM-3PM)
There will be an Ice session on Saturday afternoons: all coaches must participate in the on ice session.  Coaches CAN NOT use a team game to miss a session.
 
The USA Coaching education process has changed and a coach may only do one seminar a year.  An age specific module is also required.  This file provides the COACHING EDUCATION PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS EFFECTIVE FOR THE 2011-12 SEASON AND BEYOND.
 
Coaches will able to register for the seminars beginning in September.  Please direct any questions regarding the program and seminars to Karl Schoech,

COACHING FOR 2011-12 SEASON
If you are interested in coaching next season, please complete the following steps. Please note that Head Coach applicants should complete the process by June 27th. Assistant Coach applicants have until July 25th.

1. Complete the SRJHC 2011-2012 Coaching Application
Once you've completed the application, please drop it off at the rink or mail it in to the address indicated on the application.
  • If you've coached for the SRJHC before, please fill out this form: Returning Coach Application
  • If you've never coached for the SRJHC before, please fill out this form: New SRJHC Coach Application
2. Complete CAHA Screening
All coaches & volunteers have to be screened and approved as required by CAHA. If you have completed this process please provide your CAHA screening expiration date on the coaching application. Please click here for additional information about the CAHA Screening Process.
 
3. Register with USA Hockey
Online registration for the 2011-2012 season is now available. You can access USA Hockey online registration by clicking here.

4. Confirm Coaching Credential Status
Depending on your level coaching credential and expiration you may need to renew online or attend a coaching clinic to earn the next level. Please click here to find and register for a coaching clinic.

5. Review Rule Changes for 2011-2012 Season
