Online volunteering for the 2011 Wine Country Face Off is now closed. Please direct all volunteer questions to the WCFO Information Table located in the lobby of Snoopy's Home Ice.
Thank
you for volunteering for the 2011 Wine Country Face Off! As you know,
volunteers make this event a success, so your participation is greatly
appreciated!
As
in years
past, each family will be responsible for 5 shifts worked. Families
with two players are responsible for 7 shifts. Families will earn a $10
credit towards your dues for each shift worked over the required
amount. Conversely, for each shift not worked, you will be charged $20.
If you have any questions, please contact Jodie Coffel, WCFO Tournament
Director.
PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR SELECTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE COMMITTING!
The
SRJHC is using a new volunteer coordination system this year:
VolunteerSpot. We're hopeful that it will make both volunteering and
managing volunteers much simpler. Here's what to do:
The
different volunteer positions are outlined below. When you find a
position you want to volunteer for, please click on the "Click here to
sign up on VolunteerSpot" button. You'll then go to the volunteerspot.com website.
Once there, you will be asked to provide an email address. Please do so, and then click the "Continue" button.
Soon
after, you will receive an email to the address you specified. The
email will direct you to the volunteer sign up site. You can do so by
clicking on the "Sign Up Now / Learn More" link in the email.
Please
enter your name, email address and phone number (you can change this
info in the future by clicking the "Your Info" link on the left), select
the day you'd like to volunteer, and then pick a shift.
When you're done selecting your shifts, please click the red "CONFIRM" button on the top right.
You
will then receive a confirmation email with the details associate with
your shifts. Note: Please keep this email handy in case you need to make
any changes!
Again, many thanks for all your help in making this event a success!
PLEASE
NOTE: If you want to sign up for more than one type of position (e.g.
Locker Manager AND Information Table), you will need to repeat the
entire process outlined above.
ALSO: To give everyone an equal opportunity to sign up, we ask that each family limit itself to 5 shifts (7 shifts for multiple player families) until Monday, February 14. After that point, families interested in volunteering for additional shifts my do so.
