The SRJHC Bantams began the NorCal tournament with a 4-3 loss to year-long rival Lake Tahoe. In five previous meetings against the Grizzlies, the Flyers won one game, and tied four times.

They next faced Tri-Valley. Despite outshooting the Blue Devils 35-10, the end of regulation found the score tied 2-2, following some spectacular goaltending. The Flyers pulled out a win following Mason Glantz's nifty backhand shot from the front of the net.

The Flyers then found themselves again facing Lake Tahoe, this time to battle for a spot in the championship final. The game lived up to all expectations. Kyle Ridenour's slap shot from the point tied the game at one. The score remained tied until Lake Tahoe scored with 2:38 remaining in the game. It took the Flyers only fourteen seconds to tie the game on Jake Herman's goal, which sent this game into OT as well. Mason Siemsen, who was celebrating his birthday, scored the winner with fourteen seconds remaining.

The championship game was just as exciting, as Colton Lomanto had another spectacular performance in goal. Stockton scored the winner with less than thirty seconds left in the game. The second place finish earns the Bantams a place in the CAHA finals in April.
